Widely used in many manufacturing processes including adhesives & adhesive tapes, pharmaceutical & medical appliances, tubes and chewing gum. Five grades of TPC are currently being produced and shipped out of Sri Lanka.
Latex-based block rubber grades which includes SLR 5, SLR 10 and SLR 20. Quality of these block rubbers are guranteed.
Brown Crepe is used in the manufacture of door mats, rubber beadings and auto parts. The main grade of Brown crepe manufactured in Sri Lanka is 3X brown Crepe.
RSS is mainly used in the manufacture of tires, but is also utilized in industrial applications such as automotive parts, beadings etc. Four grades of RSS rubber is shipped out of Sri Lanka namely RSS1- RSS4.
Skim Crepe is mixed with other rubber grades to manufacture products such as conveyor belts. Skim crepe generally has a lower rubber content than the other grades of rubber.
Sole Crepe can be produced in thicknesses varying from 3-12mm. Sole Crepe could also be made in a variety of different colours by the addition of suitable dyes. It is widely used in the shoe industry.
Field latex is centrifuged to manufacture a latex concentrate with a 60% Dry Rubber Content (DRC). Centrifuged latex is commercially available in two different varieties namely high ammonia latex and low ammonia Latex.
A highly specialized grade of rubber used in the pharmaceutical and plastics industries. Thin Pale Crepe is also a latex grade and is manufactured similar to Thick Pale Crepe rubber.
